点评：We just returned from a truly amazing trip through the heart of Ireland with Tara Tours. The care and thought that went into the planning were so evident. Liam is an incredible guide and is so knowledgeable about the history of his beloved Ireland; he brought every place we visited to life.
We visited places that we never would have discovered on our own—hidden gems, ancient sites, mines, sheepdog demonstrations, and cliffs higher than any others in Europe. Liam’s wife, Kat, ensured we stayed in constant communication and had all the daily updates; she even joined us along the road with their sweet son and daughter. Fergus, our driver, was a skilled, lovely, and kind man. While I was initially hesitant about being on a 21-person tour, everyone was utterly wonderful, and we are delighted by the new friends we made.
Craig and I eventually left the formal tour to do our own thing. Kat and Liam arranged our hotels and provided excellent suggestions for what to see along the way.
We even extended our adventure to Scotland; all arrangements were handled by them, including hiring an amazing local guide. Stephen McCracken—a friend of Liam’s and a tour guide for National Geographic and the Smithsonian—took us on an adventure through the Highlands of Scotland and taught us so much about the people, the history, and the area. Our days in Edinburgh were truly fascinating, and we made yet another new friend.
I highly recommend Tara Tours for a truly incredible experience. We came home with memories of a lifetime and new lifelong friends.
