Beautiful place! A brief 3 day itinerary.
Yosemite National Park的点评
点评：Dramatic Vertical View everywhere.
What a well run National Park - clean, plenty of food choices, helpful Rangers, flush toilets, and plenty to do.
We did it in 3 days, so here are a few things not to miss:
- Mariposa Grove and Glacier Point: my favorites - located near each other, so combine together in 1 day.
- Valley Floor: do not miss the drive through Tunnel View. Then, once in the Valley, park as close to the Visitor Center as possible, because most attractions are within walking distance (museums, films, Ansel Adams gallery, and the Ahwahnee Hotel for lunch, which was wonderful.)
- The loop that you drive into/out of the floor passes by most of the famous sites, meadows, waterfalls, El Capitan... so stop at each place, because it's a ONE-WAY ROAD.
- Tioga Pass: beautiful but far - could be skipped, unless you're on the way to/from Mammoth or Tahoe. We saw 2 bears at 2 locations on the pass, which was exciting.
- Waterfalls were mostly dry because it was September.
Yosemite definitely lives up to it's reputation.
