Over 1 month, no email response. Poor experience
Tonight Josephine Birmingham的点评
点评：I’ve not had any response to an email I sent on 2nd March, so I’m leaving this review purely in the hope of receiving a reply, as waiting over a month with no acknowledgement is, frankly, quite poor.
I booked the Birmingham brunch to celebrate my 30th birthday, which I had clearly noted at the time of booking. I chose this event specifically because it was advertised as “ultimate pop girl energy”, referencing artists such as Charli XCX, Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter. As a big pop fan, this was the main reason for booking.
However, the experience didn’t reflect this in the slightest. Aside from one Chappell Roan song, the music was almost entirely older pop Spice Girls, Raining Men and similar making it feel more like a generic 90s–2000s throwback brunch rather than the modern pop event that was advertised. It felt very misleading.
The food also fell well below expectations the chips were stale and the burger was cold when served.
I had also noted that it was my 30th birthday in advance, but there was no acknowledgement at all on the day. I’ve previously attended a birthday booking here where a balloon and card were provided, so I know this is something you do. For a milestone birthday, that lack of acknowledgment was disappointing.
To be fair, the staff themselves were fantastic
friendly, attentive, and quick with service and the drinks were good, with our jug consistently topped up. The issue is not with the team on the day, but with the overall experience versus what was advertised.
For £55 per person, I expected something that at least resembled what was marketed. Instead, it felt like a completely different event.
I would have much preferred to resolve this privately, but after being ignored for over a month, I feel this is the only way to prompt a response.
