点评:I couldn’t find a section specifically for the Self Guided Discovery Tour, but this review is about the rangers, anyway. We went on the Discovery Tour with my dad, which he is mildly disabled. After making it all the way down into the cave, we realized this was probably too much for him and he sat on a bench in the cave while we did the self guided portion of the tour. After we finished, we spoke to Quinton and explained to him that our dad was having a hard time walking and with his balance. Quinton immediately called to ask for a golf cart be waiting for us atop the stairs to take our dad up the steep incline back to the visitor center. All of the rangers were gracious and kind, jumped right in to help. Although we should have realized Dad’s limitations beforehand, we didn’t realize just how much walking and how steep it really was until it was too late. Thanks to the rangers for saving him from the long, strenuous walk back up the steep incline. Not to mention it had been pouring rain and everything was very slick.
