点评：We just wanted to share a little parking tip from our visit to Aberreiddy Beach / Blue Lagoon, as we accidentally discovered a small “secret” that made the trip even better. 😄
We arrived at around 17:10 and realised the mobile payment/toll booth was already closed. When we asked another vendor nearby, they told us that they finish at 5pm and from then until 8:30am parking is free.
With that happy surprise, we turned around and used the money we would have spent on parking to support the local ice cream van instead — definitely a good trade! 🍦
If you’re staying for the whole day, the £5 parking fee isn’t unreasonable, but I’ve noticed some people feel it’s a bit steep if you’re only stopping for a short visit. We only needed about an hour or so for a stroll up to the Blue Lagoon and a bit of rock pooling, which was perfect.
In our case, the free evening parking made the visit feel even more enjoyable. And with summer daylight lasting well past 9pm, arriving after 5 still gives plenty of time to explore and relax without rushing.
