点评：Flynns Beach is one of those places in Port Macquarie where the coastline feels wild, open and very Australian. It is only a short drive from the town centre, but it has its own relaxed beachside atmosphere.
When I visited, the ocean looked powerful and dramatic, with rolling waves, white foam and dark clouds above the water. It was not the calmest swimming day, but it was a beautiful place to walk, breathe in the sea air and enjoy the scenery. The wide sandy beach, rocky edges and changing colours of the ocean make it very photogenic.
Flynns Beach is popular with surfers, families and visitors who enjoy the coastal lifestyle. There are useful facilities nearby, including picnic areas, barbecues, toilets and showers, which makes it convenient for a longer visit. It is also connected to the Port Macquarie coastal walk, so it can be part of a bigger day exploring the coastline.
There are cafes and restaurants not far from the beach, which is always a bonus if you want coffee, breakfast or lunch after a walk by the ocean.
For me, Flynns Beach is not just a swimming beach. It is a place to watch the waves, take photos, enjoy the fresh air and feel the natural beauty of Port Macquarie. A lovely stop for anyone visiting the Mid North Coast.
