A must visit....and not just once
苏格兰国家博物馆的点评
点评：Having grown up in Edinburgh I enjoyed many school trips to the museum. Back then it captivated me and visiting again I found myself enjoying a slow place and taking in all the changes.
Yes the big doors are gone and the entrance is on a lower level. Not as grand on the outside but once through the revolving doors the new (well not so new no) is stunning. The stone arch with a restaurant at one end and shop at the other is stunning.
A visit to the museum is worth it just for the stunning architecture.
But there's so much more. The museum had grown and kept up to date with technology and remains relevant. It has something for everyone, of every age. It is interactive, encouraging curiosity. From the solar system, to animals, many no longer with us to ancient Scottish history and how many great thinkers came from Scotland and changed the world.
There is no charge however donations are welcome.
