点评:The museum is in 2 parts - the art and the history. The reception was welcoming and the lady was really helpful in getting us sorted - with my somewhat limited French and her considerably better English. Starting with the art there were two exhibitions on when we went. One I thought was fantastic - the other not really my sort of thing. The building is amazing and worth walking round the art just to see the architecture. The second part is the big that really was novel and interesting to me. Most museums bring bits off the town in to a building for you to see - in Durbuy they take you out into the town to see the buildings in situ, and learn about the town's history and stories as you walk round the beautiful streets, parks and along the river. The paths are all good and the route is not too far. There are stops every so often and if you wanted you could take a break and enjoy a coffee or light lunch in the many fantastic bars, brasseries, and restaurants in the town. We I was heading with that sentence is that I felt that it would be very suitable for people with mobility issues. The narration is through a handheld device that you just point at markers around the town. A map of where they are with photos of them is provided. We found one a little hard to find as a tree had grown over it slightly. But to be honest finding the markers was also part of the fun. I think that people with severe sight issues might need some assistance with the trail.
