Disappointing 3‑Hour Brijuni Tour Experience

点评：I recently booked the 3‑hour boat excursion to the Brijuni Islands during my visit to Pula, and unfortunately the overall experience fell far short of expectations. Although the itinerary itself was appealing, several aspects of the service and vessel condition made the trip uncomfortable and disappointing.
First, the boat appeared quite old and poorly maintained. The engine was excessively noisy throughout the journey, emitting dense, acrid smoke that smelled strongly of diesel and oil. This not only detracted from the scenery but also made it difficult to enjoy the fresh Adriatic air. Additionally, the seating and interior were noticeably dirty—with stained cushions and dusty surfaces that suggested minimal cleaning between trips.
We were also told that a complimentary beverage was included in the ticket price. In reality, the “refreshment” consisted of a single tepid, mass‑market soft drink that offered neither quality nor value. It felt more like an afterthought than a genuine courtesy.
Finally, upon returning to the waterfront, we discovered several other operators offering similar Brijuni tours with newer vessels, quieter engines, cleaner interiors, and more professional service. I would strongly encourage future visitors to compare options carefully before booking, as at this price point you deserve a far more comfortable and well‑organized outing.
