A nice location for a day trip or getaway

点评：I spent 4 days in the Village -midweek-during June 2026. Lots of fun shopping. Plenty of gifty type shops, but also some specialty shops like a cooking gadget shop, a store selling lovely things from Ireland, a shop selling things from Italy and a Christmas shop open all year long. Prices are what you'd expect from a tourist location.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Plenty of places to get food and beverages.
Definitely worth the trip, but I understand it's absolutely packed on weekends.
I have some mobility issues, but there are plenty of places to sit. I think most of the grounds are accessible for a wheelchair or baby carriage, but the ground is a bit uneven in places so you need to be careful.
One thing to note is that most shops are not really wheelchair accessible, nor can they accommodate a stroller, although some have ramps. The shops are quite full of merchandise, so it would be hard to move around with a wheelchair or stroller.
