I had a great time and learned a lot!
Ovi has a relaxed way of teaching, he manages to explain the theoretical parts in an engaging way, always connecting it to the actual part of sailing, so it never feels boring.
Regarding the sailing, we did some excursions around the Las Galletas harbour and the south tip, waypoints, blind navigation, a night sailing session, MOB and sailing excercise, and Ovi explained a lot about the physics of the boat, sails and wind.
Pretty cool was the no-helm tacking just by sail and balance :)
What I especially enjoyed was the atmosphere on the boat and in the group.
We had a great companionship, always working together as a team, also when it came to cooking onboard, with each of the group preparing food for the crew one day (although having an Italian, a French and a German in the same kitchen - but luckily also a Spanish chef - there were discussions about how to properly prepare certain dishes :D)
Also, the booking and administrational part of the course was super easy.
Judith was always available for any questions I had, by email and - which I prefer - personally by phone!
