Island Girl Charters的点评
点评：This is our second time to North Captiva, but our first time with Island Girl charters.
At first I was a little worried, because we had enough food for a week, plus our suitcases, and they did not have the big plastic bins that we were accustomed to on our first ferry to North Captiva. But they were very casual about it and said it was no problem, because they had plenty of storage on the boat. And indeed they did. It was all very well organized. About 10 minutes prior to departure, someone from the boat lined up the passengers belongings and created piles on the outside of the boat. Then he loaded them all methodically. And all of our food stuff easily fit into a storage area on the front of the boat. With our luggage and everybody else’s luggage also easily being stored.
They also had a tent with picnic tables that everybody could wait under and be in the shade while we waited for the ferry.
The trip itself is short, but, it was a very windy day. So windy, in fact, that we Worried that we would not be able to make the journey that day. But the captain, who has probably has navigated these waters hundreds (if not thousands) of times, made for a ride that was only slightly bumpy. We have lived on catamarans before, so we are people who like being on the outside of a boat and don’t mind the wind. Outside, it was just us and a family with young kids who were thrilled at having the wind in their face. The captain did offer for us to come inside and said that he was shutting that door, but that we could open it at any time if we were cold. We were fine.
Island Girl is a well-run operation, from the second we contacted them until they dropped us at the dock. They also unloaded all of our bags for us when we arrived in North Captiva.

航程本身很短，但是那天风很大。事实上，风大得我们都担心当天无法成行。但船长经验丰富，可能已经在这片水域航行过成百上千次，他把船控制得非常平稳，只有轻微的颠簸。我们以前也住过双体船，所以我们喜欢待在船外，也不怕风。船外只有我们和一家带着小孩的家庭，孩子们正享受着迎面吹来的风。船长邀请我们进船舱，说他会把门关上，但如果我们觉得冷，可以随时打开。我们觉得很舒服。
“岛屿女孩号”的运营非常高效，从我们联系他们到他们把我们送到码头，一切都安排得井井有条。抵达北卡普蒂瓦岛后，他们还帮我们卸下了所有行李。
一切都非常顺利。
