点评:Wow! Five stars is not enough 😃. Great people; pleasant, patient, extremely knowledgeable, modest and eager to share knowledge without any overbearing nature. The diorama displays are well researched and presented with such excellent taxidermy, you are anticipating the next move of each animal. I thought I was knowledgeable about Canadian wildlife mammalian and raptor bird species till I saw this display. Perhaps a thousand square feet (100 square meter) but packed with such diversity accompanied by text explanation.
The childrens search challenge is brilliant; it entertains and enthuses the youngsters, making it a joy to accommodate them 😁. Likewise, the permission to glimpse briefly, the work in progress of another taxidermy was another level of education and insight.
Entrance fee was modest, leaving change for gifts.
Shoulder season when a sign says phone for admission, CALL. They are super accommodating and eager to share this amazing lifetime accomplishment, and it far exceeds most government funded museums.
I will return with a small folding stool to occasionally rest my aged frame as I spend a day or two taking in this amazing museum!
