Azalea Sprinter Scenic Train的点评
点评：Maybe we expected too much. First the serving and support staff were truly amazing. Upon request we were elevated to the "executive" car. Had we not been I think we would have gotten off. The main dining is tiny tables cramped and shared with strangers. For $300 not worth it.
The food does not match the pictures at all but not terrible just okay, it's catered in and not cooked on the train. The scenic path is not enjoyable but the feel of being on a train while eating is nice. The bathroom toilets spit at you as you flush, stand back when flushing.
What truly astonished us is when the train travels about 30-40 minutes it stopped and meals were serviced, the engineering staff came and occupied on of the executive tables, they were served first as was the "conductor" who everyone seemed to cater to as he and his wife eat.
Made you feel like you were a guest to someone else's gathering. I highly recommend covering the passthrough window to the gally kitchen after food service so guests can't watch the cook staff devoured the remaining leftovers directly from the serving steam table, maybe they should dish up their meal on a plate vs directly out of the chafing dishes in private?
Overall if you decide to explore this excursion definitely do the executive option.
