Uber round trip is the easiest

点评：This was our second visit to Mirante Dona Marta, and it was just as great as the first. The views are absolutely worth the trip.
We’ve always taken an Uber there and back, but this time the cell connection at the viewpoint wasn’t very reliable. We actually had to walk downhill for a bit before getting enough signal to request a ride. The taxis and vans waiting near the entrance wanted around R$25 per person just to take us down to the base, which was quite a bit more than we had paid for the Uber ride there from Rio.
My advice: try to arrange your return ride with Uber before heading up, or be prepared to walk a little away from the entrance until you get a good signal.
Despite the transportation issue, Mirante Dona Marta is a fantastic viewpoint and definitely worth visiting. We’ve been twice now and would happily go again!
