Blissful afternoon enjoying fantastic wine and food

点评：My wife and I spent a wonderful afternoon in the company of Chantal - she is a fountain of knowledge on all things wine production and her passion for the farm really shone through - inspiring stuff, all before we tried anything!!!
We got two wine flights (6 wines, 3 fizz + 3 still) accompanied by the hamper, a carefully curated plate of local cheese, meats, olives, pickles, chutneys, crisps and humous which as you would expect complemented the wine perfectly. The reds came alive with the salty cheese!
All of this consumed whilst sitting in the sun with a wonderful outlook over the vineyards and a very happy dog (they love them)
It was then off to the shop, spurred on by the 2 wine flights I could have bought them all but ended up with a couple. Apparently the best ones, Chantal complementing my palate, so I left with a skip in my step :-)
All in all a fabulous afternoon, this place is a hidden gem, we’ll be back and I have my eye on staying in the Manor House

之后我前往商店购物。原本我可以把所有的酒都买下来，但最终只买了几瓶。据说这些都是最好的品种，而Chantal这款酒尤其契合我的口味。于是我兴高采烈地离开了 :-)
总的来说，这是一个极棒的下午；这个地方真是个隐藏的宝藏之地啊。我们还会回来的，我打算住在庄园里。
