Lovely day out especially if you live close by
Henry Moore Studios & Gardens (Henry Moore Foundation)的点评
点评：Lovely sunny day - hot but not too hot- we started our visit with coffee & cake from the cafe. Sat outside overlooking the beautiful leans and sculptures.
We the headed over for our tour of Moore’s house, Hoglands, which we paid extra for. It was worth it, but there were quite a lot of rukes no bags, shoe coverings, questions only at the end of the tour, stand here not there! 😐once you got use to that it was interesting and not too long.
We then headed to the learning centres, barns and out buildings. Very well curated and lots to see, even though quite a few pieces are on loan to Kew Gardens st the moment.
We went back to the cafe for a salad & sandwich - all prepackaged. Next time I will bring a picnic as the food wasn’t great.
Gorgeous little village with quaint pub nearby.
Your ticket is valid for a year so we will definitely try & return for another visit.
