An excellent, informed tour of Hyderabad

点评：This was an excellent, informed tour of Hyderabad, covering several different facets of this busy and historic city, with first class communication from the owner, Jonty, the outset and a charming guide, Christina, to escort and educate us on our day outing together.
The tour we chose was called 'White Mughals'. It was almost 3 tours in one; firstly offering the opportunity to explore the sight of the former British Residency (now a college), as well as some beautiful C18th tombs, in the city itself. Then we headed downtown to the bustling area around Charminar where we tasted a range of street food and visited a temple before setting of for the outskirts of the city and a visit to the mighty Qubt Shahi tombs and Golconda fort.
Christina was an informed and very companionable guide; her humour and intelligence shone through. The car and driver were also first class, making this day-long tour, travelling through sometimes dense and noisy traffic, a pleasure. Thank you to Jonty for organising such an excellent and in-depth introduction to the city.
