点评：Take a venture back in time by visiting the End of The Commons General Store. It’s location in Mesopotamia; Ohio gives you the impression you are visiting a biblical town. The store was built in 1840 by an Amish family that remains in the hands of family members. The Commons Café has a counter with fresh meats and cheeses. There were various sandwiches to take out or dine in for lunch or dinner. There were numerous flavors of penny candy, old fashioned sodas and hand-dipped ice cream. There were delicious samples of jam & jellies. There were antique items such as a pot belly stove and a player piano. There is a “filling” station next door to accommodate the “horse” power of automobiles. There were horse-drawn buggies of the Amish people doing their daily shopping. Across the street of the General Store is a parking lot for cars and an area with a giant wooden horse and wagon. The wooden horse is a fine example of the Amish craftmanship. Oh, by the way, if your down on your luck, there was a barrel full of lucky horseshoes.
