Neuengamme Concentration Camp Memorial的点评
点评：This was a very sobering and moving experience. The Neuengamme Concentration Camp Memorial is extremely well designed, with a lot of information about the history of the camp and, most importantly, the people who were imprisoned here. There is a lot to take in, and the exhibits do a good job of putting names, stories, and personal details to the victims rather than reducing them to numbers.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the site was well maintained. There are bathrooms available, which is helpful since the memorial grounds are quite large and there is a lot to walk through.
There is, of course, a tremendous amount of sadness and difficult history here. Walking through the grounds and learning about what happened to the people who were imprisoned here was heartbreaking, but I appreciated how thoughtfully the memorial presents this history and honors the victims.
I would recommend visiting if you are in Hamburg and want to understand more about this part of history. Give yourself plenty of time because there is a lot of information to read and see. It is not an easy visit, but it is an important one.
