点评:We have been coming to Thurso for years and this was our first experience at Geise.
We were met by Steve and some really friendly dogs. First stop was the Coon cats, Isla answered all our questions about them and explained how and why there were so many.
We did the woodland walk next and it was beautiful, from the waterfall to the wild meadow flowers and little quotes all around, It was so tranquil.
The llamas and alpacas wandered around freely, as dud the sheep. Geese and chickens.
The interactive activities from feeding the baby goat, petting the cats, dogs and donkeys was good fun. The highlight of the afternoon was feeding the highland cows and being allowed to touch them.
Steve and Isla made us feel very welcome and encouraged all the visitors to make themselves st home.
The weather was kind to us to start with, but if you are thinking of a visit be mindful of the Caithness weather, wear sturdy shoes and maybe a lightweight jacket. Dress as if you were visiting a farm.... remember, it is the animals home and the animals have free range!!!!!
