Perfect morning on the water
Hermosa Boat Trips的点评
点评：Where to start! This was really the highlight of our trip. We had a beautiful morning snorkeling trip with Julio and Carlos on our last day of vacation. They picked us up right on the beach and were very accommodating/patient with our 65yo mothers (the boat is quite easy to get on and off of, and they are there to help, which eased my biggest concern for the older folks!)
We started snorkeling on a quiet beach nearby with a coral reef. This gave my mom an opportunity to get familiar with snorkeling, rather than trying out in open water. We saw so many beautiful fish, crustaceans, and got to watch two turtles as they fed on algae. Truly unreal.
They took us to other landmarks nearby and we really got a great overview of the area surrounding Playa Hermosa. We got to explore natural caves, and Carlos took time to show us many native plant and tree species of Costa Rica. The fruit and cold beverages they provided were a perfect treat for the journey.
While there are many boat tour options in Guanacaste, you cannot go wrong with these guys. They have incredible local knowledge, run a family business, and most importantly, are kind. I highly recommend Playa Hermosa boat tours for anyone who wants to spend some safe (but exciting) time out on the ocean in Guanacaste.
I hope we will get to go on another trip with them soon (maybe for the full day!)
