Disappointing.
RHS Garden Bridgewater的点评
点评：I'll start with the positives... The car park is large and well laid out with footpaths, very safe and plenty of room for everyone even on a bank holiday. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, the lady on the till at the entrance was very welcoming and smiling, it was a good first impression. However...
This is where it goes downhill. We started to walk round and at first I was impressed by the large vegetable/ walled garden area. Unfortunately, that's about as good as it gets. Fruits and vegetables are not the most inspiring and the rest of the planting in the walled garden, although impressive in its way, was very repetitive with lots of drift planting rather than prairie style. It reminded me a bit of Trentham gardens which is more of a visitor attraction than a 'garden'.
In addition, the lake area looks shabby and uncared for and the only cafe serving food on a bank holiday Monday (the main one) was a packed, noisy, and chaotic mess. Although the staff were friendly and the food was nice.
In summary, unless you live very close by and are a member, I would save your money and go elsewhere. If you're looking for a garden, I would recommend Ness botanic gardens on the Wirral. If you're looking for more of a park/ family day out I would recommend Lyme Park in Disley.
