Shocking behaviour
Delmar Surf School - Surf Shop的点评
点评：2 days ago at around 1150 am, Im in the water, on the linup is me, 3 instructors and 3 students. I paddle for a wave with its peak closest to me, I catch it. On the shoulder is an instructor with his student, he sends (pushes) her into the same wave. Making us on collision course. She falls and barely avoids getting my board in her head. I tell her "Your instructor shouldve told you not to go there". What happened next i didn't expect
I turn around and see an instructor paddling towards me while he is helling "IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY YOU SAY IT TO ME". I tried talking to him calmly with no luck. Next thing you know he suckerpunches me in the head and threatens to shove his board towards my head. He was in a non-stop testo rage, yelling slurs etc etc. "This is my country, my beach, my water my wave, if I say I take this wave, its mine"
I yell back at him, I was obviously very upset, he then starts to back off, but then his 2 fellow instructors back him up and collectively tell me to get out of the water. Having no interest in sharing the water with ppl with this nonsense lunatic behaviour, I leave and honestly will avoid this place probably forever.
Now I am all for respecting your locals, and I happily yield waves when Im visiting places. However In this scenario they are in a learning situation. I expected students to follow normal surf etiquette and to be taught that. In addition they were snaking back forth the entire lineup.
This guy exposed his student to a dangerous scenario, taught "nogo"-behaviour and had no hestitation to paddle up and get physical with a fellow surfer, I'm still shook...

我当然尊重当地人，而且我去其他地方玩的时候也很乐意让浪。但是，在这种情况下，他们正在学习冲浪。我希望学员们遵守正常的冲浪礼仪，并且教练也应该教他们这些。此外，他们还在整个冲浪区里来回穿梭。
这个人让他的学员身处险境，教他们“禁忌”行为，而且毫不犹豫地划水过去和另一个冲浪者动手，我到现在都还心有余悸……
