点评：If you stay in Edinburgh visiting Johnnie Walker is a must! It's such an iconic brand, and like every big iconic brand they have a great place to visit - and you don't have to care for whisky or alcohol, it's simply a place to educate, entertain and connect you with the product that made Scotland famous around the world!
Johnnie Walker isn't just the blended whisky but a lot of other individual brands owned by the same group, so even if you "don't care for blended whisky" all these blended whiskies naturally have to come from other single malts etc. so you can find plenty here on that end as well.
As to the tour itself - we absolutely loved it! It was fun, entertaining, there is a theatric portion about the company itself - respect to the lady that did it, so much fun and positive energy! - then the introduction to cocktail making, the Four Corners of Johnnie Walker and their contribution to the blends, and lastly the 2 free cocktails at the bar/or straight whisky - brilliant value.
Last but definitely not least, the starting point - where you fill out a little quiz on the computer and receive the colored bracelet that basically dictates what you receive later or is recommended to you to fir your personal preference - genius!!!
TIP: even though you finish the tour 2 drinks at the bar, I still highly recommend making a separate reservation for the 1820 Rooftop bar on the top floor at this Johnnie Walker location - at first I thought maybe drinks after drinks isn't the best idea but trust me it works out perfectly - there are small snacks here + excellent quality drinks, all 4 of us loved it!
