A Perfect First Morning in Venice with a True Local

点评：We had a wonderful historical and cultural tour of Venice with Igor, who showed us so many intricate details of the city on foot. What could have felt like a long 3.5-hour walking tour instead became a truly lovely morning and the perfect way to spend our first day in Venice together.
Igor’s knowledge of Venice as a local goes far beyond the physical space, he is full of character and clearly loved by many locals and friends, which gave us a real sense of the warmth and spirit of the city. His interests in art and food added so much depth to the experience, and he followed up with fantastic recommendations for places to visit and eat. We tried several of them during our trip and were not disappointed.
He also kindly treated us to local Frittella, showing us the very best, well off the beaten track, and offered a genuine local perspective on how Venice has changed over the years. A truly memorable and enriching experience.
We will be back in the warmer months to continue discovering Venice with so much to see and experience now that our cultural curiosity has been piqued!
