Modern and stylish, but with a few disappointments

点评：Sky Lagoon is very conveniently located near the center of Reykjavík, offering a great parking area and a seamless check-in process. The facilities are modern and exceptionally clean, and I was pleased to find that the locker rooms weren't crowded at all. Upon reaching the lagoon, it is clear that the area is high-end and contemporary. However, the experience felt a bit lacking in some areas.
The main pool didn't have much variation in depth and felt a bit too shallow, although it did offer plenty of seating, a waterfall, and a long stone wall facing the ocean that was perfect for leaning against while enjoying the view. I was also hoping for more variety in water temperatures, as it felt very uniform throughout. Additionally, the pool area felt somewhat small considering the number of people there.
The biggest disappointment was circuit, which includes the sauna, steam room, and salt scrub. You are only allowed to complete the circuit once, which was a letdown, as access to the sauna should ideally be unlimited. There was also a long queue in the water just to start the circuit, which was a negative. That said, the sauna itself was stunning, featuring a massive window with incredible views. The cold plunge was available for free use, which was a plus. Overall, it is a beautiful and stylish place, but the restricted access to the sauna and the layout left the experience feeling slightly incomplete.
