Wear old clothes and long wellies-be prepared to get muddy!

点评：The deer were lovely but not hungry at 10am during half term week. Tickets are £7 for adults and children, no reduction for children!
We left at 2pm as everyone was so cold and grumpy! I visited the park on Monday 16th February along with 2 adults and three children. It was lovely to see the deer at close quarters and the toilet facilities were clean. The handwashing taps were helpful but so cold.
It was a bitterly cold and windy day. When we stopped for lunch all of the picnic table were situated in a westerly location, it was absolutely freezing! We tried to find a better location but there weren’t any with shelter. (Only small trees were planted by the smelly cesspit-not conducive for a good lunch stop)!
Most disappointing was the route to the play area, it was disgraceful! Although we have had very inclement weather conditions for some time, that is not an excuse to forgo maintaining this pathway, particularly in such a popular area. The mud was inches thick so each child had to be carried backwards and forwards across this space as even with welly boots on they would have got mud inside their boots and their feet soaked through. Even wood chip or planks of wood may have helped a little.
Several parents and also children were very disgruntled because they were wet and had cold feet from this “path” it was also an orange/clay colour so many clothes were stained badly. The whole day was ruined by this problem. I sent a 2nd email to the park and received no response to how they intended to deal with this situation.

最令人失望的是通往游乐区的路，简直糟糕透了！虽然最近天气一直很恶劣，但这也不能成为不维护这条路的借口，尤其是在这么受欢迎的区域。泥浆厚达数英寸，每个孩子都得被大人背着来回穿过这片泥地，即使穿着雨靴，泥浆也会灌进靴子里，弄湿他们的脚。哪怕铺上木屑或木板，或许也能起到一点作用。
好几位家长和孩子都非常不满，因为这条“小路”弄得他们又湿又冷，而且泥浆呈橙色/黏土色，很多衣服都被严重染色了。这个问题毁了我们一整天的兴致。我给公园发了第二封邮件，但仍然没有收到任何关于如何处理此事的回复。
非常失望，以后不会再来了！
