Easy walking alongside the beach and a nature reserve area.

点评：The boardwalk is about 2 miles long, running parallel to and about 20 yards inland from the excellent sandy beach. There are several spurs off it allowing access from car parks , and access to the beach. There are very few toilets by it, no secluded changing facilities, and a few small bars open in summer. The west end starts by the mouth of the lagoon, and the east end terminates where the spectacular cliff rock formations start; the beaches here are superb, though the bathing could be a bit tricky due to water turbulence around the rocks. Alongside the boardwalk the land is being allowed to re-wild, which looks scrappy in November, but should brighten up in the spring. It is a nature reserve, where we saw the brightly coloured azure-winged magpies in abundance, plus other birds, such as goldfinch and greenfinch. Information boards advise visitors that other wildlife exist there, such as various species of lizard, the Montpellier snake, currently hibernating, and numerous species of butterfly. (The snake, though up to 2 metres in length, is generally harmless to humans). It is a very popular walking route for holiday makers.
