He took us to local fruit stands where we enjoyed a guided tasting while learning about Costa Rican culture, then brought us to hidden spots to see wildlife and experience areas most tourists would never find. The tour ended with time for relaxed shopping, perfectly paced and stress-free.
What truly set Juan Manuel apart was his professionalism, knowledge, and engaging personality. While many fellow passengers returned from ship excursions disappointed, we came back genuinely impressed—this was easily the highlight of our Panama Canal cruise.
