TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
FuerteCharter的点评
点评：Just been on the Corralejo Dolphin Safari with Fuertecharter / GoGo Canaries which costs €75 each. It is advertised (misleadingly) as a 5 hour catamaran trip where you can lie in the sun on the catamaran and includes sailing to areas where there might be dolphins and whales. All drinks, snacks, time on Lobos to swim in the turquoise lagoon with lunch, kayaking etc as well as a skipper and guide are included.
In reality the experience was HORRENDOUS and turned out to be very different to what they advertise. It was not a catamaran, it was an old boat with dangerous safety issues. We were offered no snacks and only one small drink for the entire excursion.
We were out mostly in very rough waters and clinging on with barely anywhere to hold on to. I tried to stay upright by holding a door handle and another lady sat on the floor as the seats were not safe.
The guide admitted they knew how rough the sea would be and that it would be too much but the Fuertecharter office still told them to go ahead without warning any of us or giving us the option to rearrange, making young children go through that ordeal!
People were clearly unwell and throwing up including my son who has been on many boat trips with no issues. The two employees on board didn't seem to care whatsoever.
When we were in 450m deep water the gangway gate was wide open and appeared to be ignored by the 2 employees. I pointed out how dangerous it was especially with a toddler onboard and asked the guide to close it. He did close it but made out that having it wide open wasn't an issue because the toddler was on the deck above at that particular moment! If any of us who were stood near it had fallen we could have easily ended up in the ocean!
Another safety risk was when the guide, without warning, dropped three fenders onto the deck below him where we were stood. I was lucky that the fenders missed me by a few inches!
The trip was (thankfully!) cut short after 3 hours but during that time we were only given one small drink each. An unfortunate lady was really unwell and on the boat on her own so about 2 hours into the trip I asked the guide for a drink in case it would help her and also because I was queasy but the guide just walked off!
I don't know if we were particularly unlucky with our guide but he hardly bothered with guests, spending most of his time sitting next to the skipper.
As well as no catamaran, no snacks and appalling customer service there was no trip to the island or kayaking, no proper interaction or updates and no dolphin sightings, just three hours of rough sea and wishing for it to be over.
To top it off the attitude from the skipper was appalling. Despite people being so unhappy with the experience, the lack of communication and not delivering even a fraction of what the trip promised, there was no apology. He argued that he had given us what we wanted!
I wouldn't want anybody else to have to endure this!
