An Unforgettable Sikkim Experience Thanks to Tapan and His Family

点评：We travelled to Sikkim from May 1 to May 13 as a family of 7, including seniors and children, and had a truly memorable experience thanks to Tapan Pradhan from Trust The Locals.
From the very beginning, Tapan helped us put together a well-balanced itinerary that suited our pace and needs. He arranged our vehicle for the entire trip and took care of permits and logistics seamlessly. Throughout the journey, his communication was excellent and always responsive, clear, and reassuring.
One of the things we valued most was his honesty. His recommendations never felt commercially driven. Instead, they were thoughtful and genuinely aligned with what would work best for our family. That level of trust made a big difference in planning a trip like this.
A special mention to our driver, Nima Sherpa, who was outstanding throughout. He was safe, patient, and incredibly dependable, and by the end of the trip, he felt like part of our family.
We also spent 3 days at Jiva Mountain Retreat in Namchi, which Tapan arranged for us, and it was one of the highlight of our trip. The property is beautifully secluded with stunning views, offering a peaceful escape from the usual tourist spots. What made it even more special was that it is run by Tapan’s family. They hosted us with such warmth and generosity, and the home-cooked meals they prepared during our stay were exceptional. Every member of the family was kind, attentive, and made us feel completely at home.
Although our stay there was just for a few days, it left a lasting impression on all of us.
