Not a good experience! Disappointing on all counts. Loved Vietnam but hated this tour

点评：Intrepid Vietnam 10 day Northbound Tour
Think twice before doing this tour - its cheap for a reason! Sub standard, old, dingy hotels with little to no air conditioning, bathrooms that flooded, old uncomfortable buses, bland and tasteless tour food and a tour guide Thao, who was rude and disrespectful to us and generally disinterested. We were few minutes late to a meet up point and were berated and scolded like children. Totally unnecessary. Every cost cutting corner was taken. For some reason, the walking tours were all done at the hottest time of the day in 37 degree weather and were quite boring. So many historical facts for hours every day and not enough fun. We did all the great "must do's" in our own free time and optional excursions. The last hotel was so bad that 5 of us checked out and booked elsewhere and for a mere extra $35 per night, we stayed at a beautiful hotel just down the road.
All in all a very disappointing experience unfortunately that will definitely not be repeated.
