点评：As a frequent visitor, I recently visited Srinagar.The charm of Kashmir always attracts me and my family and this time tour was organized by Ms. Sabreena, through 'Ohana Holidays', who is a generous girlie and easily available on phone any time. We landed at around 8:30 a.m. in morning on 27th of December at Srinagar Airport. Temperature was in minus out side the Airport. At arrival gate many cab drivers were waiting with placards of names of their customers but our driver was nowhere. I called him on phone and he asked me to go to car parking. I tried to find him but he was unable to tell me correct point to reach. After all he mat us and then we moved towards the city. He took us to Shalimar Bagh but we reached there before 10 a.m. and the Shalimar Bagh was not open for public at that time. I asked the Driver Mr. Zahid to take us to House boat but he said that the check in time was 2:00 pm. All those negative things made me a little bit annoyed. I requested to Ms. Sabreena to arrange our early check in. However, it was a tough task for her but she arranged in another House boat of Anarkali group our early check-in. That was a small house boat with only 3 rooms and was too cold. The staff available there arranged good coffee for me and tea for other family members. The staff members were well mannered and courteous but me and my family was not happy with the house boat. The forcast of snowfall after 2nd of January again made us disappointed. At 3pm our driver Mr. Zahid requested to allow him to go his home (at nearby village) as there was snow falling and if he could not reach his village within one hour, he would be stuck on road for whole night. I allowed him to go. At 3:30 pm, it was pleasant surprise for us that the snow fall begin in Srinagar too. It changed our mood positively. But at 6:00 pm in the evening, the staff of House boat informed us that we had to transferred from here to our premium House boat, which was situated on the other end of Nigeen Lake. The whole lake was freezed and Shikara rowing was very difficult for two boatmen. One was breaking the ice and other was rowing the shikara. That shikara ride in the darkness of night was a horrible experience for us. Somehow, we reached our originally booked houseboat. It was a big and beautiful double storeyed houseboat with 8 rooms, pantry, dining hall, big drawing room, deck and lobby. The staff members of Houseboat Mr. Shabbir and Waseem welcomed us with good hot tea and arranged fire in Bukhari to keep us warm in the drawing hall of houseboat. At 8:30 pm, they arranged a very tasty dinner for us. Two families of tourists were already staying there and everyone praised the deliciousness of dinner. At 11:00 pm on our request the staff again served us the tea. The snow fall continued whole of the night and Shabbir and Waseem worked whole of the night to remove the snow from the rooftop of the House boat. Next day at 9:00 am they served a delicious breakfast. The weather was cold but surrounding was scenic. We took photographs, played with snow and enjoyed a lot. Everywhere snow was lying like a white sheet. On that day we had to transferred to Hotel Six Season, therefore the staff arranged a motor operated shikara for us to reach the Ghat No. 1 at Lalbag. We had already informed the driver but again he parked the Vehicle (Tavera SUV) very far from the Ghat. We reached the hotel around 12:00 in the noon. It was a triple storey 3 star hotel with 38 specious neat and clean rooms. There were two big halls for party or meeting purpose on first floor and a specious dining hall at ground floor. The hotel was centrally air conditioned.Overall the hotel and it's service was very very good and is situated near highway but the cons is there was no lift, compound was not maintained and outer gate was like a factory's gate. The outside of hotel also needed to be decorated. During check-in formalities, we were served the hot Kahwa, the essence of kashmir. We were given two rooms at second floor. Rooms were warm, air conditioned and washrooms were neat and clean. It would be injustice with the kitchen staff to not mention here. The tasty meals and breakfast they prepared and served by heart. All the staff members were too nice, courteous and soft spoken. Unfortunately, I forgot their names and unable to mention here. After shifting in the hotel room, I called Mr. Zahid, the driver of cab to go to local market. But he replied that was on the way to his home. Thus, the second day again spoiled. However Mr. Zahid is sweet and a nice guy but due to lack of maturity, he was unable to understand our requirements. Therefore, I called Sabreena and requested to change the driver. Next day (On third day) Mr. Bashir/Mairaj was present at hotel compound with his SUV. We decided to go to Doodhpathari. It is a very beautiful place with amazing scenic views but due to snow freezed on all over the road, driving was too difficult. Many vehicles were stuck on the way. Mr. Basheer tried his best to reach the destination point but just 8 kms away we compelled to return back as police was not allowed to go beyond that. During the travel Mr. Basheer became very familiar with us. We took lunch at roadside dhaba and reached the hotel around 3:30. There after we enjoyed the shopping at Sunday Market of Srinagar. On fourth day we reached Tungmarg and from there Darang fountain. My children enjoyed the ATV (bike riding) . In the evening, we went Dalgate for shopping from some of our familiar shops. On fifth day we have to return and to take our flight at 5:40 pm. Therefore, we packed our luggage and checked out from the hotel Six Season. Mr. Basheer came at 9:30 am and took away us to local market, there we took Chicken kanti dish in lunch with him. It was a very tasty and delicious meal ...thank to Mr. Basheer to introduced us with the said dish. Thereafter he dropped us at Srinagar Airport at 3:00pm. Basheer Bhai and we all became very emotional at the time of this farewell. To contact with Ms. Sabreena, Ohana Holidays Tour operator and Mr. Basheer is an achievement of this Srinagar visit. It was a pleasant surprise to had contact all time with Sabreena during this tour. Unfortunately, we have no enough time to meet her in her office but she was available on phone whenever we needed.. Thanks Mr. Aakib, waseem, shabbeer, Irfan, Shahid, Zahid, Basheer Miyan, Ohana Holidays and not least but last sweet and soft spoken Sabreena. Overall we enjoyed a lot.
