Beautiful Grade II* listed Tudor mansion

点评：The Moat House Tamworth is a Grade II* listed Tudor mansion built on the banks of the River Tame in 1572 by William Comberford. It's steeped in local history and the building itself both inside and out leaves you with the feeling of stepping back in time. The themed bingo evenings are a giggle and there's always a nice group of customers. Summertime in the back garden is our favourite, the open space, the nature (resident foxes sunbathing) and the visiting doggo's makes for a wonderful Friday evening or Saturday afternoon tipple.
Since Jon & Donald took over a few years back, it's really thrived. The bar area, lounges and toilets are spotless and the service is impeccable. Barman Kieron has a great memory for peoples drinks and has them waiting for you before you even get as far as the bar! If you fancy an escape from the hustle and bustle of the town centre away from the pretentiousness of other bar owners in the locality, this is the place for you. You won't be disappointed.
