点评：I cannot speak highly enough of Ski Instructor Phil McFarlane from Hunter Ski School, Borovets. I took my daughter to Borovets from 9th to 13th March 2026 as an introduction to skiing and spend time with her after what has been a difficult year. She was a little low in confidence and had gone in on herself a little too. From day 1, and before we got to put on the skis, Phil had her relaxed and expressed his anticipation that she was going to be a “natural”. Wow, did he call it right, with his instruction and guidance, my daughter became a capable skier by day 3. Phil encouraged us both to enjoy the experience of skiing together and the bonding that it brings. Over the week my daughter grew out of her shell and her confidence grew exponentially. Phil takes great interest in his student, and all of the chats on the chairlift or gondola really helped my daughter develop not only as a skier but as a person too. Phil has a lovely manner about him and he personalises the certificates with some words that capture his students. To identify the qualities of strong, happy and smiley in my daughter meant the world to both myself and my daughter as these qualities were not clearly apparent until we met Phil. I would highly recommend Phil as a ski instructor and cannot wait to meet him again on the slopes of Borovets.
