点评：Our winter trip with Guru Travel Mongolia was the most intense and fun adventure our group has ever shared. Exploring Mongolia in the snow during our January 2026 expedition was like stepping into a movie. We hiked up to the Ariyabal Meditation Temple in Terelj National Park, where the white mountain views were pure magic, and visited the ancient Erdene Zuu Monastery in Kharkhorin, which felt incredibly peaceful in the winter air.
The Gobi Desert was even more amazing. Seeing the famous Khongor Sand Dunes covered in frost was a huge highlight, but the best part was riding shaggy winter camels—they felt like giant, fuzzy sofas! We also had a blast trekking through the Yol Valley ice gorge, sliding around on the frozen river like kids.
Traveling with friends in -25°C weather is definitely extreme and requires a team you can really trust. A huge thank you to Tuya for being so patient and providing such great information before our tour even started; her help made us feel totally prepared for the cold. The team provided a powerful 4x4 vehicle that handled the deep snow easily, and our driver Sukhee and guide Zulaa was fantastic, sharing local stories and keeping us safe. They handled everything, from the heated rides to the delicious hot traditional dumplings (Buuz), so we could just focus on the fun. If you want a reliable and expert-led winter trip, we highly recommend Guru Travel Mongolia team. Thank you again!
