John Wayne: An American Experience的点评
点评：As long time fans of John Wayne, we were excited to hear that John Wayne: An American Experience had opened at the Stockyards. Even on a Saturday, parking was relatively easy to find - pretty much anywhere around the Stockyards is a quick walk to the exhibit.
When you walk in, you’re greeted by the gift shop. Unlike other gift shops at some museums, we were very impressed with the selection and quality of John Wayne-inspired items. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and it felt like everyone truly cared about making this experience memorable.
Walking through the exhibit, you’ll find a lot of smaller items from Duke’s career. Many of the walls are covered by photos of John Wayne with family, friends, and on-set. Some common display items are letters to/from John Wayne, an impression selection of his hats, and (our favorite part) actual costumes from some of his biggest hits.
It took around an hour to walk through the exhibit without deeply reading every single letter, description, etc. in fine detail, but we certainly learned and felt closer to John Wayne than ever before. If you’re in Fort Worth, we definitely recommend stopping by!
