Disappointing Twilight Spa Evening Experience

点评：The Twilight Spa Evening for Two on 29/07/26 was booked by my partner as a relaxing treat following a particularly stressful period. Unfortunately, the treatment experience was extremely disappointing and fell well short of what we expected.
We were advised to have a 25-minute Swedish Back, Neck & Shoulders Massage. However, the therapist was late, and the actual treatment lasted only around 10 minutes from start to finish. The treatment itself consisted almost entirely of oil being applied and rubbed over my back, with very little resemblance to what we would reasonably expect from a Swedish massage.
We are therefore very puzzled as to why this treatment was described and sold as a Swedish massage. The description was, in our view, misleading and inaccurate, and it raises concerns about the way treatments are being marketed to customers.
Both my partner and I were particularly disappointed by what appeared to be a significant discrepancy between the treatment we had booked and the service that was actually delivered. Given that this spa is local to us, this was especially frustrating, as we had hoped to enjoy a relaxing experience and would have liked to support a local business.
We intended to raise our concerns directly with Helen, the manager, whom we understand to be diligent and helpful, but unfortunately she was not at her desk when we tried to speak with her. There was also no one available at the spa counter, with a note directing customers to contact main reception, yet the receptionist was not available either.
