Northern lights ok, but nothing spectacular

点评：We went to the Northern Lights Display last night as a family 3 adults and 3 year old. I had not read any reviews, but a relative had been last year and said it was brilliant, I wish I had read the reviews.
We wrapped up warm, but as it had been a warm day did not think the need for wellies. However, the walk round was wet and puddles all the way round even the walk to and from car park. When you first entered there was food and drink places and a few fairground rides which included a ferris wheel. I thought this was nice until you looked at the prices of the food and the rides. I paid £26 for a bratwurst in a baguette roll not so fresh and a scattering of crispy onions and two children’s hot dogs.
I wouldn’t minded if it was worth the money but it was not. On entering the light show they were selling flashing light wands, luckily our 3 year old granddaughter did not want one. Now for the light show, I was expecting great things as it costs £21.95 per ticket for an adult, £14.95 for 3-16 and £5.95 to park( if purchased online, dearer on gate).
The light show was ok, but nothing spectacular for the costs of the ticket.
The lights were no more than LEDS and fibre optics stuck in the ground, a couple of bee holograms in another area and smoke machine in one area making it difficult to see where you were walking on uneven ground and some lasers.
Our granddaughter fell a few times because of the uneven path and poor lighting.
This was a really expensive night for a couple of hours around a poorly lit, wet and uneven footpath and not you would have expected especially from a name like John Lewis and the price of the tickets.
I would think health and safety would have a field day here. I would say save your money and look elsewhere to have a fun day out with your family. I would not recommend this experience to anybody

灯光秀还算可以，但考虑到票价，实在没什么亮点。
灯光不过是一些插在地上的LED灯和光纤，另一个区域有一些蜜蜂全息投影，还有一个区域有烟雾机，导致在不平整的地面上行走时视线模糊，还有一些激光。
由于路面不平整和照明不足，我们的孙女摔了好几次。
在光线昏暗、湿滑不平的人行道上玩了几个小时，却花了这么多钱，实在令人失望，尤其是考虑到这是约翰·刘易斯百货公司出品的，票价也不便宜。
我觉得健康和安全部门应该会对此大做文章。我的建议是，省下这笔钱，去别的地方和家人一起度过愉快的一天吧。我不会向任何人推荐这个体验。
