What a fun place to visit, browse, taste wine and enjoy.

点评：We entered this store front in Calistoga and were immediately greeted with an offer of a glass of wine to browse the shop with. We did browse, but we also spent time tasting the very nice selection of wines at their in-store tasting bar. The owner has wines of reasonable price and some European varietals not generally found in the US. I enjoyed their Albarino- a white wine good for meals or simply while visiting. The Pinot Noir was grown on the Sonoma Coast and was excellent. Also served was a sparkling wine.
In addition to the wines the shop has a unique and fun collection of things for sale from art work to humous socks. Ellen took great care of us and made our visit fun.
As viewed in the photo available Picayune Cellars also has an outdoor area that can come alive with entertainment. This is a very cool place to visit while visiting the very cool town of Calistoga.
