Sonning Boats & Launches的点评
点评：Spoilt our whole day by not showing up.
My group of 8 friends met at the agreed pick-up point with our cold picnic & champagne for a lovely day on the river at Henley Regatta on Saturday 1st July 2023-but the boat ''Gatsby'' did not show up, nor did anyone contact me to explain.
With great difficulty I eventually contacted the company by phone & a male from the company then tried to convince me that the boat had broken down that morning on the way to meet us!
We insisted on being shown the boat & after taking a taxi to it we found it in a filthy condition clearly not having even been prepared for charter, so clearly telling me that it had broken down on the way to meet us that morning was a lie.
I note from Companies House that James Alfredo Ruffell was at that time (& still is) the sole director of Sonning Boats & Launches Ltd (& now also one of two directors of Luxe Boating Ltd).
