Snorkeling with I Dive at Parrotel beach Resort

点评：We were booked on a snorkeling tour which included two stops to snorkel and a visit to the white island. The snorkeling was very good and very enjoyable and would recommend doing it. You need to be made aware of a few things though
1) Check the weather for wind speed, if the wind speed is showing 18 mph or higher there will be a very good chance that the trip will be cancelled. Given you are meeting at 8am in the hotel reception is it an earlish start for a holiday to hang around reception for 45 min to an hour to be told it is cancelled - and this happened for 3 consecutive days for some guests. The hotel reception has the forecast for 5 days in advance so before booking I would advise to check this and pick a day where the wind speed will be lower. (The reps will often say "tomorrow will be ok") but look at the wind speed yourself!
2) A lot of the time is just sitting on the boat going to and from locations, from 8am to getting back at 5.30pm actual time in the water is probably less than an hour for all 3 spots combined. The trip back from white island was over an hour and a half on its own.
3) If the temp is 19 degrees C or lower and if the wind speed is above 15 mph as well then you will need to take a hoodie or jack and maybe something for your legs as it go very cold and windy on the boat.
4) You can snorkel at the end of jetty/pier which is not as good but there is not a huge amount of difference so if you just want to snorkel this is a very good alternative which will give you a similar experience and not use up your whole day
