Wonderful afternoon tea (lunch)

点评：We booked afternoon tea through Travelzoo ahead of a trip to York. Since it's a full meal in itself, we booked it for lunchtime.
My wife doesn't like anything with vinegar in so pickles, mayo etc are out. Through conversations beforehand, the staff understood this and were happy to cater accordingly.
The tea room is inside the hall and there is a smaller room directly overlooking the gardens. We were served here.
From arrival to departure, the staff were fantastic. Friendly, very helpful and efficient. The sandwiches were as promised (and plentiful), the scones superb and the selection of cakes excellent. There were even a couple of warm sausage rolls each. Our package included a glass of prosecco, and we got a full glass each.
The pot of tea was very good and we had the option for refills or additional tea, should we want it.
Great value, great location, excellent tea and super service.

从我们到达直到离开，工作人员都表现得非常出色。他们既友善又热情。非常贴心且高效。三明治如承诺的那样多（而且数量充足），司康饼美味绝伦，蛋糕的种类也相当丰富。每人还能得到两个热乎乎的香肠卷。我们的套餐中包含一杯普罗塞克酒，我们每人都喝到了满满一杯。
茶的品质也很不错，如果我们需要的话还可以续杯或再要些茶。
物超所值，地理位置优越，茶品一流，服务超棒。
