点评：My daughter bought afternoon tea vouchers for my mother’s 80th birthday and we visited on a very hot day in July.
My mother has mobility issues, and whilst there was no parking in the immediate vicinity, my husband was able to drop us all right outside where access was level and easy to navigate.
We were warmly welcomed and our table was waiting in the beautiful, historic hall. The staff were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. They had taken note of my dietary requests and served accordingly and were around to offer top ups of drinks, etc. Everything was served on pretty cake stands and was both efficient but laid back- a difficult balance to achieve.
Needless to say, Grandma loved it!
It’s very tucked away, but close to the Minster and it’s a beautiful building with lots of history associated with it. Definitely worth seeking out and reasonably priced.
Would have no hesitation in recommending a visit with, or without, the afternoon tea!
