Busy shopping and dining street in Zermatt

点评：This is the main sightseeing, shopping and dining street through the Old Town of Zermatt, starting at the rail station (north) and running nearly 1.4 km southwest to the Church of St. Mauritius. This is an atmospheric street with plenty of retail and souvenir shops as well as nice restaurants, casual eateries and coffee shops.
We enjoyed stopping at some of the chocolate shops and had a very nice coffee and cake stop at Petite Royal. Enjoyed the signature mountaineer's bread from one of the Fuch's Bakery branches along Bahnhofstrasse as well.
At the south end of Bahnhofstrasse, there is some interesting sightseeing including the Matterhorn Museum, St. Mauritius Church, cemetery and memorials dedicated to mountaineers and local guides who have died climbing the Matterhorn and other local mountains.
