点评:This street is the one which leads to the Zermatt Bahnhof, the main train station in and out of Zermatt. It is lined with hotels, restaurants and shops so it is a nice place to start when looking around Zermatt. Following the street leads to the old town area and if you head further in you eventually get to the Zermatt gondola which takes you up to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise.
It is generally quite busy but there are very few cars around that you can walk on the road. Watch out for the horses and people lugging their luggage around.
The buildings all look quite unique and many are still made of wood. There are quite a few side streets whcih you can explore including Hinterdorfstrasse, which is a street lined with the old wooden houses. It is definitely a place you will end up if you are in Zermatt.
