点评：We tried to rent kayaks this afternoon, but they were not prepared for business. We had visited the kiosk downtown that offered guided tours, but we decided we just wanted to rent a kayak on our own. The man at the kiosk directed us to go to their other location on the other side of the harbor. He told us it was $60 for the rental. We headed over there, but the only tandem kayak was already rented so we were going to have to rent singles. When we did the paperwork he said it was going to be $140 - I said that the other guy said a kayak rental was $60 - he went back over the paperwork and said they were $69. Mind you it was already 1 PM so we weren’t going to have an entire day with the kayak. We decided to proceed, paid, did the waiver, and then went to use the restroom (to which he did not know the code….). There was another couple in front of us so while we went to use the restroom he was going to set them up. He never told where we would get our kayaks so we had to ask someone on the dock who directed us to head up the hill and there was a boat launch. We found him on his way back to get us and he took us to the kayak stand where he proceeded to try to put together paddles and find life jackets. The life jackets were old and dirty. He put together one paddle and then realized he only had one-half of the other paddle - he had to call his boss who would be 10 minutes to bring another paddle - I don’t understand how a company who rents kayaks doesn’t make sure everything is ready to go in the morning when they open so that they can get customers quickly on their way. We had it, we asked for a refund, which he quickly processed and told us to expect to see it refunded in a few days.
