Underwhelming… and eaten alive!

点评：Ok, but I wouldn’t bother going back. We went as a family of 4 - kids aged 6 and 9. Admittedly on a very hot day, and some of the issues below may have been exacerbated by that…
Bites! So many mozzies… constantly swatting them away. Partner and I are covered, and we aren’t talking little red bites, but huge (10 cm diameter, swollen legs etc) I appreciate it’s a forest and comes as a given there will be bugs, but is they worth the day out? Honestly, I don’t think they are….
Slides - ok. Kids enjoyed their first go, then got fed up. Long queues and one slide suddenly shut - health and safety, temp (also closed when wet). I get it- H&S comes first, but just something to consider when booking/ weather.
We didn’t eat there but had ice lollies/ drinks and they weren’t too pricey.
Toilets - ok. Not immaculate but could have been worse. Horrendous sewage smell in many areas of the park… can only think the heat intensified this?!!
Parking free - always a plus
Attractions themselves - ok. Lots of the same, in our opinion.
Staffing - barely saw any staff around the park, which surprised me, as it was a busy and hot day. We saw one family who had lost their little boy. Mum found him but was understandably in bits. No one to support or raise the alarm. Also odd that there were no staff at the top of the slides - we saw many children not following the rules (eg not wearing the foot sacks) but I guess that’s the point of the waiver?!
Overall cost -£50 for a family of four, so it was ok and we didn’t feel ripped off. But we wouldn’t bother going back, and the kids didn’t moan when we announced it was time to go home…

我们没在那里吃饭，但买了冰棍和饮料，价格还算合理。
厕所——还行。虽然不算完美，但也还好。公园很多地方都弥漫着一股令人作呕的下水道臭味……我猜可能是高温加剧了这种情况？！
免费停车——这当然是好事。
游乐设施本身——还行。在我们看来，很多都大同小异。
工作人员——在公园里几乎看不到工作人员，这让我很惊讶，因为那天人很多，天气也很热。我们看到一家人走丢了他们的小男孩。妈妈找到了孩子，但显然非常伤心。没有人上前帮忙或报警。滑梯顶端也没有工作人员也很奇怪——我们看到很多孩子不遵守规则（比如没穿脚套），但我想这就是免责声明的意义所在吧？！
总花费——一家四口花了50英镑，还算可以，我们也没觉得被宰。但我们不会再去第二次了，孩子们在我们宣布该回家的时候也没有抱怨……
