"Almost Heaven” is an understatement! Absolute must-visit.
New River Gorge National Park & Preserve的点评
点评：My fiancée, her two teenage sons, and I recently visited the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, and it completely blew us away!
We started our visit at the Canyon Rim Visitor Center, which was the perfect launching point. The indoor exhibits were incredibly educational, engaging, and genuinely fun—which is a major win when you're traveling with two teenagers!
After exploring the visitor center, we took the trail down to the scenic overlook. The walk was well-maintained, and the payoff at the end was unmatched. The views of the gorge and the iconic bridge are incomparably beautiful; West Virginia's "Almost Heaven" slogan is entirely accurate here.
We were also incredibly impressed by how clean and pristine the entire park was. If you are looking for breathtaking scenery, a touch of history, and a great family atmosphere, this park is a 5-star destination. We are already planning our next trip back!
